HISTORIC CLARE DEPOT finds it's final resting spot! DVD Production in process!

What an historic process going on in Clare!

The moving and setting of the Old Clare Train Depot onto it's new foundation and home!

It is quite the project.

The Michigan Magazine crew has been on site filming the highlights for an upcoming segment on RFD TV and our crew from MEMRA Productions is compiling footage for a documentry DVD to be released soon.

We thank Jeremy and Darlene Lane of MEMRA, based out of Northville, for making the trip to Clare "more then once" to capture key moments besides the initial move back in April.

In the video below Jeremy Lane interviews a key individual in the lowering of the historic depot onto it's new foundation

I'm sure the final DVD, made available through MEMRA PRODUCTIONS, will be quite the keepsake!

We suggest that you contact MEMRA to reserve a copy at (248) 417-0030.

You can also visit them on-line at memraproductions.com

We also would like to thank the citizens and businesses of Clare who welcomed Michigan Magazine TV, and other area media, with open arms.

We also thank Cops and Doughnuts "TRAFFIC STOP" diner for helping us keep our strength up with all the great food including marvelous doughnuts and gallons of "cops" coffee!

We can't wait to see this project come to fruition.....It certainly will be a gem in the crown of Mid-Michigan!

Stay Tuned!

While waiting for the segment to air on Michigan Magazine TV and the DVD to be produced...we urge you to check out these historic books, post-cards and old county maps of Michigan's Clare county!....Fascinating stuff!
