CANADIAN NATIONAL ANTHEM

Next Monday we will be honoring both U.S. and Canadian Veterans who have fallen in recent years.

On display will be crosses representing Michigan and Canadian soldiers who have fallen since 911.

Each cross will bear the name of the fallen.

We will be presenting the colors of the U.S. and Canada.

A Canadian contingency will be in attendance.

We need someone to lead the singing of the Canadian National Anthem. Please if you would be so kind to do so or know someone who would do this extreme honor contact our museum curator Nelson Yoder asap (989) 848-2246

Thank you!

Wounded Veterans

An event to remember and cherish is being organized by volunteers and fellow veterans!

A memorial and a show of support will be held at the Michigan Magazine Museum September 5th, Labor Day 2011.

It won't be another typical day of remembrance that soon is forgotten...

It will be a heart felt moment of gratitude for those who have served to protect our citizens and the country we hold so dear.

To those fallen brothers and sisters we will hold your sacrifice dear and your memory close in a memorial and services of gratitude!

We hope all that can break away from their busy Labor Day schedule will do so. God bless those who have served this country in the military and may God bless you who will be in attendance on this very special day. Here are the details!

Fall is in the air!

Bit of a nip this morning! Quite a welcome relief after the 90+ temperatures we all enjoyed the last few weeks!

I just love the changing seasons!

I can almost smell the aroma of school supplies being purchased!

Did ya hear that? I think I heard a maple leaf change colors.
