Great Day down on the "Alpaca Farm" at Crystal Lake Alpaca Farm in Frankfort! (Pictures)

What a wonderful day down on the "Alpaca Farm" at Crystal Lake Alpaca Farm of Frankfort!

During Alpaca "Farm Day" the weather cooperated beauifully as Crystal Lake presented a day of fun and learning on the grounds!

We thank Andrea Nelson for providing some photo highlights of Saturday's crowd!

It is such a delight to see humans interact with these amazing animals that provide the most beautiful wool for processing....which they LOVE to be rid of time to time.....It's a win / win situation for the farmer and Alpaca.

We hope you enjoy these photos and if you're brave enough....check out the video at the very end of this blog for the ACUTUAL BIRTH OF AN ALPACA we caught on tape at last years "open house"

By the way this video will air on the RFD TV network this coming Friday at 3 p.m.!

Check your local listings for Michigan Magazine....

in Michigan we (RFD TV/Michigan Magazine) are on various cable franchises including ATT-Uverse Channel 568 and on Charter Channel 122...plus, of course, DirecTV Channel 345 & Dish 231...Many new franchises are adding RFD TV to thier line-up so we suggest you check your new channel line up asap.! :-)

Ahhh the ultimate joy of spinning Alpaca wool
